The purpose is to allow every party member and young backbone to experience the hardship of the Red Army in the revolutionary era, so that everyone can more realistically understand and appreciate that today’s happy life is exchanged by countless revolutionary predecessors and martyrs with blood and life. Educate everyone to cherish today A happy life, establish firm communist beliefs, and always follow the party.
This time we want to take the Red Army road. According to historical records, in October 1934, when the Red Army's anti-Japanese advance team left Tonglu after a fierce battle between the Tonglu watershed and the Kuomintang troops, the area of Yihe, Lingyuan and Hecun villages in Fenshui town was around. It was a mountain road traversed by the Red Army northward at the time, and the road was 8.9 kilometers long. According to the old man in the village, the Red Army Road starts from the vicinity of the current Niushanwu and Ma'andian, and can be connected to Fenshui Town. In the early years, the Red Army Road was used by the villagers as the main road to enter and exit the village.
On the day of the event, although the weather was hot, every comrade seriously insisted on walking through this section of the Red Army Road. A stretcher was also made in the middle to simulate the scene of the Red Army transporting the wounded at that time. During the visit, the local Red Revolution Museum was visited. Through this event, we deeply realized the spirit of the Red Army that was not afraid of suffering or fatigue. Our party cadres and young backbones must learn from our Red Army predecessors, inherit and carry forward the hard-working spirit of our party, and in the future work we must also face difficulties and carry forward the spirit of perseverance.
